Terms & Conditions — Text Messaging Programs

Villaggio Iccara runs two text messaging programs: texted links from our after-hours phone assistant, and texts about private events and catering. These terms cover both.

1. Text Links From Our Phone Line (After Hours)

When you call Villaggio Iccara at (609) 585-7277 after our opening hours, our automated phone assistant answers. If you ask it for one of our links — such as our menus, online ordering, table reservations, catering ordering, our rewards program, our private events page, directions, or your own event page — it asks you, before it sends anything: "Can Villaggio Iccara text that link to the number you're calling from? It's one message per request, message and data rates may apply, and you can reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help." It sends the link only if you say yes, and only to the number you are calling from. We keep your answer with the message we send.

Each text carries the one link you asked for, starts with "Villaggio Iccara:" and ends with "Reply STOP to opt out." — for example: "Villaggio Iccara: Our menus: https://www.iccara.com/menus/ Reply STOP to opt out." One message per request, and no more than three on a call; nothing is sent afterwards unless you call and ask again. We never send marketing or promotional messages through this program. 2. Private Events and Catering

Villaggio Iccara sends text messages to customers who have asked us about booking a private event or placing a catering order. Those messages are: confirmation that we have received your enquiry; a link to your own event page, where your rooms, menus, dates and choices live; our answers to the questions you send us; and reminders about an event you have booked — the deposit, the final guest count, and the date your menu choices are due. If you call the restaurant and choose the option to have our private event enquiry form sent to you by text, we send you that link the same way.

There are three ways you can ask us to text you about an event or catering order. On our website, when you tell us about an event or a catering order, you give us your mobile number, choose Text as the way you would like us to reach you, and agree to the sentence printed beside the field: that you agree to receive text messages from Villaggio Iccara about your event or catering enquiry. By phone, our staff read that same statement aloud and confirm that you agree before taking your number down. Or you can simply text us first.

Consent

Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of booking or purchase, in either program.

Message Frequency

Phone-line links: one message per request, up to three per call. Private events and catering: message frequency varies with the conversation — typically a handful of messages around an enquiry, and a few more in the run-up to an event you have booked.

Fees

Message and data rates may apply. Standard messaging rates from your wireless carrier apply to messages we send and receive. Villaggio Iccara does not charge for this service.

Opt-Out

You can stop the messages at any time by replying STOP to the number the message came from. UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END and QUIT do the same thing. We will send one message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, and nothing after that. If you would like us to text you again, reply START, or ask us by phone or on our website.

Carrier Disclaimer

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Privacy

Your information is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. No mobile opt-in data or consent information will be shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
